Jason Murray is a judge of the Delta County Court in Texas. He was elected in 2014, effective January 1, 2015, and his term expired on December 31, 2018.[1][2]

Murray ran for election to the Delta County Court.
Primary: He faced Herbert Brookshire, Kathy Houchins, Jo Nita Moody and Danny Pickering in the Republican primary on March 4, 2014.
Runoff: Brookshire faced Murray in a May primary runoff for the Republican Party spot. Murray won that race with 57% of the votes and advanced to the general election.
General: He defeated Ted Carrington in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 63 percent of the vote. [1][3][4][5]
