Jason Potts
Jason Potts (Democratic Party) was a member of the Tennessee House of Representatives, representing District 59. He assumed office on November 6, 2018. He left office on November 8, 2022.
Potts (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Tennessee House of Representatives to represent District 59. He won in the general election on November 3, 2020.
Potts was a member of the Nashville Metro Council in Tennessee, representing District 30 from 2011 to 2018.[1]
Biography
Potts graduated from Spring Hill High School in 1996. He studied real estate at the Continual Learning Institute. He has also been a licensed general contractor in the State of Tennessee.[1]

The city of Nashville, Tennessee, held nonpartisan elections for mayor and metro council on August 6, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was May 21, 2015. All 41 metro council seats—including the office of vice mayor—were up for election. In District 30, incumbent Jason Potts was unopposed.[2][3]

Potts ran in the 2012 election for Tennessee House of Representatives, District 53. Potts was defeated by Jason Powell in the August 2 primary election. Ben Claybaker defeated Tonya Miller in the Republican primary. The general election took place on November 6, 2012.[4][5]
