Jason Prokop
Jason Prokop (Democratic Party) is a member of the Nebraska State Senate, representing District 27. He assumed office on January 8, 2025. His current term ends on January 3, 2029.
Prokop ran for election to the Nebraska State Senate to represent District 27. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Jason Prokop was born in Lincoln, Nebraska. He graduated from Crete High School in 2000. He earned a bachelor's degree in political science and communication studies from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2004. His career experience includes working as a nonprofit executive, external affairs manager for the Nebraska Department of Transportation, chief of staff for the National Association of Insurance Commissioners, and various positions—including legislative director, legislative assistant, senior aide, and staff assistant—for U.S. Sen. Ben Nelson (D).[1]
