Jason Reese (Republican Party) ran for election to the Oklahoma House of Representatives to represent District 83. He lost in the general election on November 6, 2018.

Reese was an unsuccessful Republican candidate in the February 14, 2012, special election for the Oklahoma State Senate, District 46. The special election was called to fill the vacancy created when Andrew Rice (D) resigned in order to move out of state where his wife has taken a job.[1]

Reese was defeated by Rep. Al McAffrey (D) in the special election. McAffrey won by a 1,258-630 margin.[2]

The special election had been scheduled for April 3, 2012. However, since a primary election was not necessary, the primary election on February 14, 2012 served as the general election.[3][4][5]
