Jason Robinson is the father of two young children, a former CU football athlete, and CU Boulder Alumni. Jason has 8 years of experience as the Director of the K-12 Outreach and 2 years as the Associate Director of Academic Outreach (CU Succeeds) at CU-Denver. During his time he successfully increased enrollment by 600% and increased revenues from $21,000 to $480,000 in 4 semesters. He has also increased campus engagement for prospective students (and their parents) from 1,500 students to over 10,000 students in less than 3 years, increased K-12 partnerships (accounts) by 450% in 4 years, and successfully increased revenues across two programs from $56,000 to over $374,000 in less than 3 years. Jason received his Bachelor's Degree in Business from CU-Boulder, his Masters in Political Science for CU-Denver and he is currently working on his Ph.D in Public Administration from CU-Denver.
  • Jason understands that the University will need to explore new avenues for funding programs to meet this increased demand for mental health services. He’s prepared to work with the University and develop partnerships with qualified community organizations to ensure that the necessary funding is available.
  • This is a time of robust debate and political discourse in our Nation, and our public universities have a duty to protect and defend the First Amendment rights of students, staff, and faculty. The Right to free speech is not just the law, it’s a critical part of the pursuit of knowledge and understanding. There is no place more important than our public Universities to protect open discourse and the exchange of diverse perspectives.
  • Diversity is not a buzz word. It’s a commitment to inclusivity that Jason Robinson has spent nearly two decades advocating for. Jason understands that developing a diverse student body at the University level starts by opening pathways for students and parents starting as early as kindergarten, and all the way through high school. Further, he has proven that the University alone cannot deliver on this promise of diversity – it takes strong, sustainable community partnerships to engage parents and students at the grass-roots level.
Jason is most passionate about mental health, inclusiveness and diversity, and first amendment rights of students.
