I have a Ph.D. in Religious Studies from the University of Iowa and teach World Religions at the University of Michigan-Dearborn. I am originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan.
  • I want neighborhoods and communities to be involved in their parks. They should provide input into park projects and improvements.
  • I have attended every Park Commission meeting this year and intend to attend every meeting when I am elected.
  • I want our parks to host more events to generate interest in the parks and additional revenue to update and maintain the parks.
