Two of seven seats on the Harlingen Consolidated Independent School District board of trustees in Texas were up for by-district general election on May 6, 2017. Incumbents Gerry Fleuriet and Javier De Leon filed for re-election and were unopposed for Place 1 and Place 2, respectively. Due to lack of opposition the election was canceled, and Fleuriet and De Leon were automatically re-elected.[2][3]
