Jay Case
Jay Case (Republican Party) is a member of the Connecticut House of Representatives, representing District 63. He assumed office on January 9, 2013. His current term ends on January 6, 2027.
Case (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Connecticut House of Representatives to represent District 63. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Prior to serving in the General Assembly, Representative Case was a small business owner in northwest Connecticut. He has also worked as a commercial energy consultant and has prior experience in the construction industry.
In 2012 Representative Case was first elected to represent the 63rd Assembly District, made up of Winchester, Colebrook, and sections of Goshen and Torrington. He was re-elected to his 4th term in November 2018. Rep. Case has served on the Appropriations and Internship committees, has been selected to serve as Ranking Member of the Human Services committee, and was a founding member of the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities caucus.[1]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 10, 2014. Marie P. Soliani was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while incumbent Jay M. Case was unopposed in the Republican primary. Case defeated Soliani in the general election.[6][7]
