I am a Former United States Marine and New Lexington, OH local. I enjoy spending time with my wife, Mikala, and our 6 month old son, James. I'm an outdoors man including Bass fishing, White Tail Deer hunting, and hiking the beautiful places in Ohio. I am running to try to change the status quo of career politicians. For far too long it seems that politicians are becoming more and more distant, less receptive to their constituents, and callous to the every day citizen. I've always had a love for public service and want to make a genuine difference for the 72nd House District. I want to be the voice for the citizens that feel they're not heard any longer. My Integrity, My Reputation, and My Constituents are number one to me and I plan on ensuring that my son, James has a better District to grow up in and prosper.
  • Our State seems to be bleeding money in spite of recently raising taxes. I want to see where all of our tax dollars are going.
  • I want to bring broadband internet to the rural areas of Ohio. In this day and age, Internet should be a Public Utility, not a privilege.
  • Our Law Enforcement and Firefighters are getting their budgets cut and losing personnel in a time when we can not afford to lose them.
I'm extremely passionate about our veterans! Being a veteran myself I want to ensure that my brothers and sisters in arms have the tools they need to get to appointments, get medication, and get the mental healthcare that they deserve and need!

I am also extremely passionate about our Public Servants and ensuring that they have the tools and personnel needed to keep us all safe and healthy!

I want to ensure that our trade schools are not being forgotten about and 4 year degrees aren't being pushed onto our new high school graduates. Men's hand built this country and we're losing tradesmen every year without replenishing their ranks.
Integrity is by far the most important characteristic for an elected official. Being elected by the people means that they're putting their trust in you to make decisions in their best interest as a delegate. Breaking that trust and disregarding your Oath of Office is the ultimate betrayal.
I am a very outgoing and friendly person. I've never met a stranger and I will always make an effort to make someone smile. I truly believe Integrity and Dedication are two of the most important qualities a person and legislator can have and I believe I possess those qualities.
I was in the 5th grade when the Twin Towers fell. The teacher at South Elementary School wheeled in the television and we watched the chaos ensue. That was when I knew I wanted to help people, regardless of the way I end up doing it.
You Are Worth It, by Medal of Honor Recipient Corporal Kyle Carpenter. I can picture myself in his shoes when he speaks about his family and the true grit and determination that he has. He says many times that "You Are Worth It"! That means a lot to me as a person because I have had friends in very bad spots in life and telling them that you care, can be the crutch that holds them up! You never know what someone is going through in life so you should always try to make their day better is you can.
I believe one of the biggest challenges we're going to face in Ohio is climbing out of the hole that COVID-19 has created.
It is paramount to build positive relationships with other legislators because every decision that we make is going to be a group decision. We need to make decisions as a group for the benefit of Ohio AND our Districts.
I will always favor a Bi-Partisan redistricting. We should earn our seats in politics fairly and by the voters. Not, by gerrymandered districts that favor one candidate or another.
