Jay D. Blitzman

Jay D. Blitzman is the former first justice for the Middlesex Juvenile Court in Middlesex County, Massachusetts.[1] He was nominated to the court by former Governor William F. Weld in March 1996.[2] He retired from the bench in March 2020.[3]
Education
Blitzman received his undergraduate degree from Union College in 1971 and his J.D. from the Boston College Law School in 1974.[2][4]
Career
From 1972 until he joined the Middlesex Juvenile Court in 1996, Blitzman worked as an attorney with the Committee for Public Counsel Services. He also previously served as a director for the Youth Advocacy Project.[2]
