Feldstein ran for election to the Lucas County Court of Common Pleas, Domestic Relations Division.
Primary: He was successful in the Democratic primary on May 6th, 2014, receiving 66.8 percent of the vote. He competed against John Coble.
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 39.1 percent of the vote. He competed against Lisa McGowan.

Feldstein received his undergraduate degree from the University of Toledo and his J.D. degree from the University of Toledo College of Law in 1979.[3][4]
Career
At the time of his candidacy, Feldstein practiced law with the firm of Kalniz, Iorio & Feldstein Co., LPA in Toledo, Ohio. He specializes in personal injury, criminal defense, family, and education law.[3][5]
