Jay Jones (Wisconsin)
Jay Jones is the Village of Lannon representative on the Hamilton School District school board in Wisconsin. Jones was initially appointed to the position in 2016. Jones won a new term in the by-district general election on April 4, 2017.
Biography
Jones was a network engineer for the district from 2006 to 2008. He has worked in the information technology department at Joy Global since 2008.[1]
Elections
2017
Two of seven seats on the Hamilton School District school board were up for general election on April 4, 2017. Incumbent Michael Hyland won re-election to an at-large seat. Incumbent Jay Jones won re-election to the Village of Lannon seat without opposition. Candidate Joseph Mirasola originally filed in the at-large race but withdrew in February 2017. Although he withdrew, his name still appeared on the ballot.[2][3]
