Primary: He was defeated in the Democratic primary on May 6, 2014, receiving 11.5 percent of the vote. He competed against Jefre S. Goldtrap, Tee Gorham, Sheryl Guinn, Lynda Jones, Paul Walwyn, and Edward S. Ryan.
