Jay R. Adleman is a judge of the Maricopa County Superior Court in Arizona. His current term ends on January 1, 2029.

Adleman ran for re-election for judge of the Maricopa County Superior Court in Arizona. He won in the retention election on November 5, 2024.

Adleman was initially appointed on May 20, 2013, by Gov. Jan Brewer (R).[1]

Biography

Jay Adleman earned a B.A. from the University of Arizona in 1995, graduating summa cum laude, and a J.D. from the University of Arizona Law School in 1998, graduating cum laude. He began his legal career as a clerk for Arizona Court of Appeals Judge John W. Thompson (1998–1999) and as an associate at the firm of Teilborg, Sanders and Parks P.C. (1999–2001). Adleman then became a deputy county attorney with the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office (2001–2006) before returning to private practice as an associate at the firm of Jones, Skelton & Hochuli P.L.C. (2006–2011).[1]
