Jay Sarzen
Jay Sarzen is the former Republican at-large representative on the West Hartford Public Schools Board of Education in Connecticut. Sarzen was initially appointed to the position in 2012. First elected in 2013, Sarzen lost a re-election campaign in the at-large general election on November 7, 2017.

Four of seven seats on the West Hartford Public Schools Board of Education in Connecticut were up for at-large election on November 7, 2017. Incumbent Cheryl Greenberg (D) won re-election. The two other Democratic candidates, Deb Polun (D) and Lorna Thomas-Farquharson (D), also won. Incumbent Jay Sarzen (R) was unseated by challenger Robert Levine (R).[1]
