Jay Carl Waldman (1944-2003) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Waldman was nominated by President Ronald Reagan on August 3, 1988, to a seat vacated by Daniel Henry Huyett;[1] he was confirmed by the Senate on October 14, 1988, and received commission three days later. He served until his death on May 30, 2003. Waldman was succeeded in this position by Juan Sanchez.
