Jayden Gallagly was born in Rockford, Illinois, and raised in Belvidere, Illinois. An outspoken Gen Z conservative, he is deeply involved in community organizations and civic efforts throughout Boone County. Jayden is committed to strengthening public engagement, especially among younger generations, and advocates for accountability, transparency, and responsible leadership in local government. He is also among the youngest individuals in the state of Illinois to seek public office, reflecting his dedication to bringing a new generation of leadership into public service. In addition to his civic involvement, Jayden serves as the founder and president of Rockford Area Turning Point, where he works to empower young conservatives and encourage active participation in local government.
I am passionate about public policies that strengthen transparency, accountability, and civic engagement in local government. I believe residents deserve clear, accessible information and meaningful opportunities to participate in the decisions that affect their communities. I am especially committed to encouraging youth involvement in public service/ civil engagement, supporting community development, and promoting responsible, efficient local governance that puts people first.
