I am Jayden Munoz and I'm running for City Council District 3 in the city of San Antonio. My district is the proud home of all South Side and Southeast Residents, Businesses and Organizations. In order to improve our communities it starts with our leaders. My plan of action throughout my time in office is to

1. strengthen and improve our infrastructure. 2. Prioritize the welfare of my community by completing monthly mental Wellness checkups on our families in the district and Sharon we are meeting the needs of our communities and residents and

3. creating a wall of transparency and accountability between our people and the local government as councilman I will make it my ultimate goal and primary responsibility that the south side and Southeast side are accurately represented in every way possible our district speaks volumes with our vibrant families and rich culture in D3. Home is where the heart is. With your vote we can create real powerful change for the betterment of our district. South Side pride!
  • Strengthening and improving ourselves sides infrastructure
  • Prioritizing the welfare of our communities in the district by completing monthly mental health Wellness checkups in order to ensure our communities are well met and up to par.
  • Creating a wall of transparency and accountability between our people and our local government
I am passionate about "Proposition A" because I am FOR PROP A in addition to approving Proposition A and the charter proposes not spending city resources for marijuana arrests and abortions, as well as adopting cite-and-release for low-level, nonviolent misdemeanors. It is also required to ban no-knock warrants and police chokeholds. By doing this we are reducing the risk of police brutality in our communities and the residents most importantly. Therefore I firmly believe that if no one disrupts the system, the system does not change, Passion leads to success. Actions speak louder than words. My commitment and dedication speak for itself.
If Proposition A is passed into office in The City of San Antonio will be the very first city ever in the entire State of Texas to be the first city to Decriminalize Abortion. That should speak for itself, knowing we have an opportunity to create real change used for good, That means police would not investigate or arrest people suspected of performing an abortion, a felony crime unless the patient’s life is at risk. Police similarly would not investigate, arrest or cite people possessing 4 ounces or less of marijuana, which is illegal in Texas. It would create a citywide justice director to oversee the implementation of these policy changes.
