Jayne Crowley
Jayne Crowley was a judge for the Meigs County General Sessions Court in Tennessee. She joined the court in 1998. She also had jurisdiction in the Meigs County Juvenile Court.[1][2] Crowley was defeated in her bid for re-election in 2014 and stepped down when her term ended on August 31, 2014.[3]
Education
Crowley received her B.A. degree from the University of California at Irvine in 1981 and her J.D. from the Northwestern School of Law - Lewis and Clark College in 1986.[4][5]
Career
Crowley began her career in 1985 as an associate at Lucas and Associates Law Firm in Oregon. She worked there until 1988, when she became partner of the law firm of Williamson and Williamson. In 1993, she moved to Tennessee, where she worked as a private practice lawyer (emphasis in family law) until she joined the court in 1998.[4]

General: She was defeated in the general election on August 7, 2014, after receiving 36.3 percent of the vote. She competed against Casey Stokes.
