I am passionate about encouraging all levels of government to work together on behalf of their constituents.
I believe that elected officials need to park their egos at the door. It is not about you, but about creating effective public policy for the majority of your constituents.
I want to leave the world a better place for my daughter and those who come after me. That includes modeling cooperative behaviors that lead to the ability of government to work for the majority of its citizens. There is nothing I dislike more than folks who cling to "my way or the highway" behavior. One must stand strongly by one's values, but there is always room for some ability to create a win-win proposition where everyone gives a little to achieve goals.
