Jean Wagenius (Democratic Party) was a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives, representing District 63B. She assumed office in 1987. She left office on January 5, 2021.
Wagenius (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Minnesota House of Representatives to represent District 63B. She won in the general election on November 6, 2018.
Biography
Wagenius earned her B.A. from George Washington University and J.D. from the William Mitchell College of Law. Her professional experience includes working as a staff attorney for the Minnesota Court of Appeals, Peace Corps volunteer, and manager of a telephone company.[1]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 3, 2014. Incumbent Jean Wagenius defeated Roger Kittelson in the Democratic primary. Andres Hortillosa was unopposed in the Republican primary. Wagenius defeated Hortillosa in the general election.[7][8][9]

Wagenius won re-election to the District 62B seat in 2010. She had no primary opposition. She defeated Deanna Boss (R) in the general election on November 2, 2010.[12]
