Jean Woodford

Jean Woodford was the Division J judge for the Jefferson County Court in Colorado.[1] She was appointed by Governor John Hickenlooper in July 2012 and was retained by voters in 2014 and 2018.[2] [3] Woodford left office on April 4, 2020.[4]

Woodford was retained to the Jefferson County Court, Colorado with 66.8 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [5]

Education
Woodford received a bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado and a J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School.[6]
Career
Prior to her judicial appointment, Woodford was the first assistant attorney general in the Colorado Attorney General's Office, where she worked in the Financial Fraud Unit. In the past, she has also served as the acting district attorney for the 7th Judicial District, and as an assistant district attorney.[2]
