JEANENNE HOSTON FOR STATE ASSEMBLY has deep roots in the community. I am a 5th generation Sutter County native. My family has been here since the Gold Rush and my 2X Great Grandfather T.L. Smith was the Sherriff of Sutter County from 1893-1898. I am the mother of 3 and wife to Franky Hoston. My husband and I are proud to have served in the US Army for a combined 15 years. Unlike the politicians of today I am just your average middle-class citizen. I understand and align with the average voter and know that I can represent District 3 from a personal perspective. We don't need out of touch politicians telling us what we need, we need someone just like us in the weeds to fight for us. I will fight for everyone of you and do what is best for all of District 3 not just certain cities.
  • Just an average Middle Class Citizen and can relate to real life issues.
  • I am not a career politician.
  • I am proud to be from California and want it to be the best state to live in.
I am concerned about our Forrest Fires. Homeless situation. Housing crises. Drought.
They should be willing to work together and come up with the best plan for their constituents not personal opinions.
The drought and fires that come with it are and are going to continue to be a major issue. We also need to get control of rising prices and availability of housing for all families.
Yes, it is beneficial, however a fresh perspective is always good. I think our current legislators have gotten used to wheeling and dealing and not doing what is best for all of their constituents. They are so stuck voting on party lines that nothing is getting done.
Yes, you need to understand their point of view. Nothing gets passed if there is no compromise and work with other legislators.
If you are going to redistriict it should be to put the same population in each district.
Yes, having a two party system is affecting policy. We need to be voting on issues based on our constituents not just across party lines.
