An effort in Brush, Colorado, to recall City Councilmember Jeanine Anderson was initiated in April 2018.[1] Petitioners submitted enough signatures to put the recall on the ballot for December 11, 2018.[2] Jeanine Anderson was recalled from her position.[3]
Recall vote
The recall election was held on December 11, 2018. Unofficial results showed Larry Lundstrom winning the recall with 44.7 percent of the votes; Anderson earned 8.6 percent.[3]
Recall supporters
Recall organizers accused Anderson of disrespecting city personnel and constituents.[1]
Recall opponents
Anderson responded to the recall effort. She said, "There has been no substantial wrongdoing by me during my time as councilor, absolutely none. This is just another way for the losing Ward 3 candidate to unseat me in an attempt to get a seat on council, and it's just dirty."[1]

Petitioners submitted 162 signatures, which was enough to move the recall forward. The city council scheduled the recall election on December 11, 2018.[2]
