Originally from Levittown, PA, I went to St. Michael the Archangel Grade School, Conwell-Egan Catholic High School and Temple University. Teaching for over 20 years, I currently am the 4th grade teacher at St. Mark School in Bristol, PA.

I recently celebrated 14 years of Marriage to my wonderful husband, Dennis. I am blessed to have a lot of family in the area as my mother, Rita Raudenbush lives in Levittown and my sister, Jennifer Valeri is in Buckingham with her husband and children.

I am honored to say that my father, Paul Raudenbush, Jr., who passed in 2012, is a Vietnam Veteran.

I also love the Jersey Shore especially Sea Isle City I was fortunate enough to publish a book 6 years ago. It is a love story that takes place in that same town of Sea Isle City, NJ.

  • The main reason I'm running is to help pass the heartbeat bill in PA. Once a heartbeat is detected - no abortion. My opponent, Mr. John Galloway, says that he is Pro-Life. Yet, on December 12th, 2017 he voted against the dismemberment abortion ban effectively voting to allow dismemberment abortions in PA up to 20 weeks. I found this to be unacceptable.
  • I will be fighting to help pass HB 76. This bill calls for the elimination of school property taxes. So how do we compensate for this drastic change? The bill calls for increasing the state sales tax from 6% to 7% and including some more items that are not currently taxed and increasing state income tax from 3% to 5%. The question is does this result in a net gain for most Pennsylvanians? Moody's Economics thoroughly studied this bill and determined that it would be a huge win for PA. PA homeowners and businesses should expect to see their overall property tax bill at least cut in half after the second year it is implemented. We agree with Moody's Economics and believe this will transform PA into an economic powerhouse.
  • We are working with a group of proven job creators to see what strategies PA can use to attract businesses from NY and NJ. Shifting gears, I have over 20 years teaching experience and I will work tirelessly to be an advocate for our teachers and students while I am in Harrisburg and making myself available here at home. The goal is to make our schools the very best they can be!
To help pass the heartbeat bill in PA. Once a heartbeat is detected, no abortion. I believe life begins at conception, but the heartbeat bill must be passed. My opponent, Mr. Galloway will not fight for this bill and even voted against the Pro-Life movement on Dec. 12, 2017.

Running for State Representative is my chance to help save lives. I want to be their voice and protect the unborn. I will fight for the heartbeat bill to pass in PA. In life, you get one chance to accomplish all your goals and dreams. Why do we think it is okay to take away anyone's chance at life? Think of all the experiences we go through in our lives, who are we to take that opportunity away from another? There are many options when faced with pregnancy, murder shouldn't be an option.

To fight for HB76 to pass in PA. This bill will eliminate school property taxes. It will cut your property tax bill in half (or more) after its second year. My opponent likes this bill and has talked about it for 7 years, yet has not helped get it passed or even fight for it. It will help so many in our area by significantly lessening the burden of financial stress.

With 20 years teaching experience, I am passionate about education. Students deserve the best possible education and I will tirelessly be their voice in Harrisburg. Working with an education team, our goal is to ensure the best education for all students. Our teachers are excellent, I want our schools to be the best in the area.
My mom is a wonderful role model, not only because she is my mother, but she is an amazing human being. Her eagerness to help people doesn't matter if she knows you or not. She is always willing to lend a helping hand. She is driven, energetic, and full of life. We are thirty years apart, but we are closer than ever! My mom is faith-filled and taught me so many valuable lessons growing up. She has the biggest heart and will always have a place for you at her dinner table. She is a talented teacher and has a captivating personality. She is hardworking and has taught me the best lesson...always put God first in your life, and the rest will follow.
I believe that the individual should be honest, hard working, and committed. It is important to be honest with your constituents as well as yourself. Hard working is also crucial, putting the time in day and day out, not just finishing because it is the end of the day, but finishing because your are satisfied with the result. Committed to each and every person in your district and the goals that your aim to achieve. Being helpful and knowledgeable to members of the community. Always keeping your promise and following through on your plan once in office. As a teacher, I always tell my students that actions speak louder than words and being a State Representative I will be able to live out these actions.
I am honest, hard working, and helpful. Each of these qualities are important in my life. As a teacher, I promote these values in my classroom. Again, leading by example is the best way to promote these qualities. I am an honest person, and stand up for what I believe in. I am strong in my beliefs and will fight for my constituents in Harrisburg. I am hard working and continue to finish each task I start until it is completed. I enjoy helping people, solving problems, and finding solutions.
I am an avid reader! It is so hard to pick only one book. I love the beach and if I can't be down the shore, I love reading books with a beach setting. Two of my favorite authors are Elin Hilderbrand and Mary Kay Andrews. Both authors set most of their novels in beach towns. A great way to visit the beach, without leaving your couch!
No, I feel that life experience is the best experience. As an educator for 20 years, my ability is to help and serve students and parents. I am a problem solver. I set goals not only for myself, but my students as well. Taking steps to achieve goals and keeping my promise every step of the way. Whether it is my classroom, teaching my students or serving my community as a State Representative, I will do my best every single day to handle what life unfolds, in every possible way. I have the knowledge to handle situations quickly as they arise and study problems in depth to make the best possible choice for my constituents.
Yes, I feel that it is important to build relationships with other State Representatives. However, the constituents must come first. My mission is to accomplish goals and work towards helping the people of the 140th District. Building relationships and bridges with other State Representatives are important, but should not overtake the mission of serving my community.
As I meet people in my community, my heart goes out to them once I hear their stories. I am a compassionate person and not only enjoy teaching, but building relationships with so many people over the years. As I listen to so many people in our community, financial stress is a major concern among most of them. With HB76, this bill will transform so many peoples lives, in such a positive way. It will give a significant amount of money back to people. Families could go on vacation, take the long weekend. and send their children to the school of their choice. Homeowners could reap the benefits of this bill and use the extra money however they please. It's a HUGE win for PA!
