Jeanmarie Carroll is a justice of the Massachusetts District Courts. She was nominated to the court by former Governor Deval Patrick (D) on September 5, 2014, and her nomination was confirmed by the Governor's Council on October 22, 2014.[1][2] Carroll may serve on the court until she reaches the mandatory retirement age of 70.[3]

Education

Carroll received her undergraduate degree from the College of the Holy Cross and her J.D. from the Northeastern University School of Law.[2]

Career

Prior to her judicial career, Carroll served as the first assistant district attorney for the Norfolk County District Attorney’s office. She began working in the Norfolk County District Attorney’s office as a legal intern and became first assistant district attorney in 2009.[2]
