Jeff Almquist

Jeff Almquist is a judge for the Superior Court of Santa Cruz County in California. He was appointed by former governor Gray Davis in October 2003 to succeed Richard McAdams. Almquist was re-elected in 2012 and his current term will expire in 2019.[1][2]
Education
Almquist received a bachelor's degree from Yale University and a J.D. from the University of Connecticut Law School. Almquist also holds a master's degree from San Jose State University.[2]

2012 election
Almquist ran for re-election to the superior court in 2012. As an unopposed incumbent, his name did not appear on the ballot. After the primary election, Almquist was automatically re-elected.[3]
