| Collapse all
- Arapahoe County is a great place to live, work and raise a family. It is, however, changing. The region has been impacted by the economy, homelessness, crime and drug/alcohol abuse. Mental health services are not sufficiently meeting the needs of our communities. The County Jail SHOULD NOT be the largest homeless shelter, rehab and mental health clinic in Arapahoe County.
- Our roads and bridges need work to be made safe for traffic, including school busses. The County's buildings are aging and need to be improved for employee safety and comfort along with safety and comfort for citizens conducting business inside them.
- The County must plan for the future and that includes looking at the revenue and expenses. Cutting costs and saving taxpayer funds - the efficient use of tax dollars - needs to be a continuous process, not just when we have an emerging need.
