Jeff Carr is a former member of the New Mexico Public Education Commission, representing District 10.[1][2] He was first elected in 2008 and ran unopposed for re-election in 2012. He did not seek re-election in 2016.[3][3] Carr dropped out of the 2018 race for governor of New Mexico on March 15, 2018.[4]

Political career

New Mexico Public Education Commission (2008-2017)

Carr won election to District 10 of the New Mexico Public Education Commission in 2008 and was sworn into office on January 16, 2016. He ran unopposed for re-election in 2012, but did not seek re-election in 2016.[3][6]

Carr ran for re-election to District 10 of the New Mexico Public Education Commission in 2012. He was unopposed in the June 5 Democratic primary[7] and the general election on November 6, 2012.[8]
