  • A public official's best ability is their availability... I'm always available, accessible and responsive to the needs of my constituents.

It affords the Representative the opportunity to introduce legislation concerning important issues and direct funding to districts of need... all of which affects the lives of fellow Missourians.
I look up to former State Representative, Brandon Ellington who is currently the 3rd District City Councilman in Kansas City because we have similar backgrounds coming from the same walk of life reaching back into our community to change the culture and narrative of our peers who so often fall victim to the drug culture and gun violence.
"The Social Pyramid of Energy and Wealth, (A Scientific Approach to Success)" by Jeff Francis
Responsive. Accountable. Reliable. Studious. Humble. Morally conscious...
Being a voice and guiding light for the residents of their district.
Socio-economic equality for all races and genders...; renewed hope and realization of the "American Dream."
The first historical event I can recall happening in my life was the Kansas City Royals winning the World Series in 1985, and Rev. Emmanuel Cleaver II being elected as Kansas City's first African-American Mayor... I was 9 years old @ the time.
My very first job opportunity came when I was 8 or 9 yrs young. I had the privilege of working with my Uncle, Carl cleaning up the yards, basements and garages of friends family members. This included mowing lawns... That job lasted 5 or 6 years
"The Metaphysical Club" and "Maestro" by Bob Woodard
Getting my peers interested in political processes.
Legislation and voicing the concerns of my constituents at the Missouri House.
The process of laws and statutes being put on the books and how to shape policies, along with directing funds for different programs and initiatives.
Being able to articulate resolutions, connecting with both voters and non-voters, alike, and having a healthy moral compass.
