Jeff Greer
Jeff Greer (Democratic Party) was a member of the Kentucky House of Representatives, representing District 27. Greer assumed office in 2007. Greer left office on December 31, 2018.
Greer (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Kentucky House of Representatives to represent District 27. Greer lost in the general election on November 6, 2018.
Greer passed away on July 16, 2025.[1]
Biography
When he served in the state House, Greer's professional experience included working as the owner of the Greer Insurance Agency and as a loan officer. Greer and his wife, Beth, had two children.[2] He is a member of the Association of the United States Army, Brandenburg United Methodist Church, Meade County Chamber of Commerce, National Rifle Association, and chairman of the Young Agents Committee of the Independent Insurance Agents of Kentucky.[3]

Elections for the Kentucky House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 20, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was January 28, 2014. Incumbent Jeff Greer ran unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Rachelle Frazier ran unopposed in the Republican primary. Greer defeated Frazier in the general election.[8][9][10]
