Jeffrey "Jeff" T. Hall was a 2014 independent candidate for District 2 of the Michigan State Senate.[1][2]

Hall served in the U.S. Navy from 1986 to 1994. He enlisted at the age of 17, and served three years of active duty and five years in the reserves. He attended the Corry Station Naval Technical Training Center in Pensacola, Florida, and trained as an electronic warfare technician to analyze and monitor primarily Soviet Naval radar systems.[3]

Elections for the Michigan State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election was held on August 5, 2014, and a general election took place on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was April 22, 2014. Incumbent Bert Johnson defeated Georgia Lemmons, Taras Nykoriak and John Olumba in the Democratic primary. Mark Price was unopposed in the Republican primary. Johnson defeated Price and Jeff Hall (I) in the general election.[5][6][1][2]
