Jeff Hollingsworth

Jeff Hollingsworth is a circuit court judge for the Eleventh Circuit Court in Tennessee. He was elected to the court in 2006 and was re-elected on August 7, 2014, for a term expiring in 2022.[1][2][3][4]

Education
Hollingsworth attended Tulane University on a football scholarship and received his undergraduate degree from that school in 1973. He then received his J.D. degree from Louisiana State University in 1977.[1][5]
Career
Hollingsworth began his career in 1977 as a law clerk for Judge William F. Cline. The following year, he joined the East Baton Rouge District Attorney's Office, where he served as an assistant district attorney and section chief until 1984. He then worked as an assistant district attorney general in Hamilton County until 1989. After that, Hollingsworth joined the law firm of Stophel and Stophel (now Chambliss, Bahner and Stophel). In 2006, he was elected to the Eleventh Circuit Court.[1][5]
