Jeff Lewis (Republican Party) ran for election to the Georgia State Senate to represent District 52. Lewis lost in the Republican primary on May 24, 2022.

Note: On May 12, 2022, Administrative Court Judge Charles Beaudrot ruled that Jeff Lewis was not eligible to run in the 2022 primary for Georgia State Senate. Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger (R) later upheld the ruling. After Lewis appealed the decision, Superior Court Judge Ural Glanville reinstated Lewis on the ballot.[1][2][3]
