Jeff McMahan
Jeff A. McMahan, CFE, is a former Democratic Oklahoma State Auditor and Inspector, first elected in 2002. On January 18, 2008, McMahan, along with his wife, was indicted by a federal grand jury for accepting improper cash and gifts from an Oklahoma businessman.[1] On June 14, 2008 a federal jury convicted McMahan and his wife, Lori McMahan, on one count of conspiracy and two counts in violation of The Travel Act (18 USC §1952, which prohibits interstate travel in support of racketeering).[2].
After the trial
Mr McMahan was convicted in his trial and resigned his post on June 16, 2008.
