|- I have pledged to engage with community partners outside the courtroom to achieve better outcomes for all inside the courtroom and have a track record to back that up.
- I will seek to end racial disparities in the criminal justice system by requiring implicit bias training for all DA staff, data collection to fully recognize disparities that exist and hiring and retaining a diverse staff which better reflects the population we serve.
- The job of the DA is to seek Justice, not merely convictions. In many cases, justice demands and convictions and some for of accountability and punishment. However, we should never lose sight of that overarching goal: Justice.
