Primary: He was successful in the Republican primary on March 4, 2014, receiving 78.9 percent of the vote. He competed against Kimberly M. Garcia.
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 42.4 percent of the vote. He competed against Ken Holt. [1][2][3]
