Jeff Sharp is a judge of the Ripley County Superior Court in Indiana. He was elected on November 4, 2014, for a term that expires on December 31, 2020.[1]

Sharp ran for election to the Ripley County Superior Court.
Primary: He ran unopposed in the Republican primary on May 6, 2014.
General: He defeated John Kellerman II in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 50.1 percent of the vote. [1][2] 

Education

Sharp graduated from Milan High School and went on to earn his B.S. in criminal justice and criminology from Ball State University. He later received his J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law.[3]

Career

Sharp began his career working for a mid-size firm in Cincinnati. He also ran a general practice firm in Batesville and Milan, focusing primarily on criminal defense, family law, wills and general civil litigation. Prior to his election to the court, he served as a deputy prosecutor for Dearborn County, where he was assigned to the Drug Court and Veterans Court.[3]
