Jeff Taylor is a judge for Division 1 of the Kentucky Court of Appeals 2nd Appellate District. He assumed office on January 5, 2004. His current term ends on January 6, 2031.
Taylor ran for re-election for the Division 1 judge of the Kentucky Court of Appeals 2nd Appellate District. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Taylor served as chief judge of the Kentucky Court of Appeals from July 1, 2010, to June 30, 2012.[1]
Biography
Education
Taylor earned his B.S. from Murray State University in 1975 and his M.P.A. from Memphis State University in 1976. He received his J.D. from the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law, graduating with honors in 1982.[1]
Career
Before joining the bench, Taylor practiced law in Owensboro, Kentucky, for over 20 years. He was a solo practitioner from 1990 until his election to the Kentucky Court of Appeals in 2003.[1]
