Jeff Young (South Carolina)
Jeff Young is an at-large judge for the South Carolina Circuit Courts.[1] He was elected to the court by the South Carolina General Assembly on February 11, 2009.[2] He was re-elected in February 2015 to a term expiring in 2021.[3]
Education
Young received his B.S. from The Citadel in 1977 and his J.D. from the University of South Carolina in 1984.[4]
Career
Prior to becoming a judge, Young worked in private practice, first with his brother at Young and Young, P.A. and later as a sole practitioner starting in 1998. He also served as a family court judge for the 3rd Judicial Circuit's Family Court from 2004 to 2009.[4]
