Jefferson & Northwest Rescue & Ambulance District Levy Measures, 2 (November 2011)

Two Jefferson & Northwest Rescue & Ambulance District Levy Measures were on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the Jefferson and Northwest ambulance district area which is in Ashtabula County.

Both measures were approved

The Jefferson measure sought to add to the current district levy by a rate of 1 mill for a further five years in order to continue to pay for buying new equipment in the district.

  • YES 831 (50.83%)Approveda
  • NO 804 (49.17%)

The Northwest measure sought to replace the current district levy with one set at a rate of 2 mills for a further five years in order to continue to pay for ambulance and emergency medical costs in the district.[1]

  • YES 3,214 (63.43%)Approveda
  • NO 1,853 (36.57%)[2]
