Jefferson Nunn is a passionate Democrat running for Texas House District 67, representing the vibrant community in Collin County. With a deep commitment to community empowerment, Nunn aims to bring positive change and strong Democratic leadership to the district
  • We need to fully fund Education. We must hire the best and brightest to enable our children to be the best and brightest. We must allow all citizens to have access to the best education. Texas must compete in the global economy through advanced education means.
  • Many companies are looking to hire skilled workers. We must support our workforce while they are retrained for these jobs. AI, Quantum Computing and Advanced Biotechnology requires good skills and these jobs pay well. For Texas to compete in this 21st century economy, we must partner with global companies and the workforce to enable a strong future.
  • Healthcare today is bankrupting our people and our state. We must end the predatory practices by big healthcare. Our citizens have the Right to Life, the Right to Liberty and the Pursuit of happiness. These companies are infringing on those rights. With regards to Women’s health, the only people that should be involved is the doctor and the patient. All abortion laws should be rescinded. The nations greatest asset is the health and welfare of its people. It’s time to advance into the 21st century with a healthy and enabled state.
Education, Jobs and Healthcare are my top 3 priorities.
Obama is one of the greatest leaders of our time. He led by example and, as a result, we had eight years of peace and prosperity. He welcomed new ideas and put forward a lot of improvements that remain in place today. I believe that we should continue the progress that he made so that we can move forward as a society.

It is important to understand how laws will impact society.

Currently, Austin is comprised of lawmakers destroying the Right to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. To date, Leach and other Lawmakers have passed legislation that resulted in deaths. Further, many are now traumatized and with no way out.

Lawmakers are required to ensure the rights of its citizens are protected. Further, lawmakers must have a real world background. Leach, for example, has not experienced much in his 30 year tenure and, as a result, is disconnected from the realities of the people in his district.
I have been involved with five enterprises over the years that have utilized my designs to grow and to be sold to a larger enterprise. At Gowireless, I was the IT Director and it was my designs that led the enterprise to grow from 50 locations to over 2,000 at its' peak. Gowireless later sold for $800 million.

It is possible to utilize technology and business processes within Government to improve all our lives. I believe that because of my 30 years of business transformation experience, I can lead Austin and Texas into a bright new age.
Lawmakers must pass laws that further protect and extend citizens' rights as time goes on.
I would like all of our peoples to have peace and prosperity. When I am in Austin, I will push get us out of the business of drama and into the business of growing by leaps and bounds.

Everything that we all need is available to us on Earth and in this Solar System. We only need to help ourselves to grow and prosper.
When I was 13 years old, I saw the Space Shuttle Challenger explosion on live TV. I spoke with my classmates and all of us were shocked and saddened by the events of that day.
I was a network engineer for an international software localization company. As a result, I spoke with people from all over the world on a daily basis. I also worked closely with Project Managers at major companies such as Microsoft, Adobe and others. I was employed there for six years.
Foundation by Asimov. It is one of those rare books that showcases actions over a very long period of time. Further, it teases the concept of 'strands of time'. Between this and Connections (TV Series), I am a fan of the concept that an action today can greatly influence positive actions in the future.
Merlin. Magic and Science would rock this world!
As a Disabled American, I frequently run into challenges with my disabilities. Each day, I manage my hearing impairment and my fibromyalgia. It is difficult sometimes to seek and to retain the care that I need so that I can continue on each day. Further, it is difficult to explain my disabilities to others.

Each and every day, I thank God that I am alive. I look to my wife and my children as a source of happiness. And I seek to share this happiness of living with everyone that I meet.
The Governor should be fully aware of the challenges that its' citizens are enduring. Further, the Governor should be one that focuses solely on the advancement of the Rights to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness by its' peoples. In this way, the goals would be aligned and a better future can be had by all.
It is not required. Today, politicians have a background in drama and this is not needed. Consider the drama put forward by Leach, Abbot and others. This is counterproductive.
Yes. Legislators should openly work with each other and to encourage the discussion of ideas that will be put into law.
A resident in my district is facing medical bankruptcy. She is 60 years old and is unable to maintain employment. She lives by herself and can barely make rent and living expenses. The system has betrayed her in every way. She has given decades of her life towards gainful employment. But due to her medical challenges, she is now about to become homeless.

Also, another resident of my district was friends with the cheerleader that died at the Allen Outlet shooting. She is now a forceful advocate for making our cities safer from psychopaths.

I have spoken with many residents of my district and I will carry their stores with me when I go to Austin. We can and will improve our state.
A human spends a long time climbing a really tall mountain. They reach the top of the mountain and yells to the sky, "Are you God?"

An echoing reply says, "Does it Matter?"
Once I am in Austin, I will introduce a bill to remove all restrictions on women's healthcare. It is patently unfair for 50% of our state to live in fear.
House Committee on Public Education
House Committee on Health and Human Services
All Government actions should be open to full review by its' people. Further, all government expenditures should be open and transparent. There are modern methods today that would make such transparency easier to accomplish. This would further enfranchise citizens to support each other and to further the goals of the state and country.
