The ballot title for Property Tax Measure was as follows:
“ | Shall School District No. 1 of the Parish of Jefferson, State of Louisiana (the "District"), levy a 10.89 mills tax on all property subject to taxation within the District (an estimated $45,800,000 reasonably expected at this time to be collected from the levy of the tax for an entire year), for a period of 10 years, beginning with the year 2025 and ending with the year 2034, for the purpose of giving additional support to the public elementary and secondary schools in the District by providing funds for the payment of salaries and benefits of teachers and other school employees? | ” |
