This measure sought to create a bond in the amount of $1.925 million on order to build a new gym in the district as well as make renovations to existing buildings as needed. On average, $.99 per $100 of assessed value would have been added to local property tax rate in the district. District officials noted the low interest rates as good cause to ask for this bond money now.[2]
