A Jefferson Township Property Tax Levy Renewal question was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Tuscarawas County, which is in Ohio, where it was approved.
This question authorized the Township of Jefferson to renew a property tax levy of up to 0.5 mills ($0.5 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for five years in order to fund Ambulance services in the Township.[1]

Language on the ballot:
| “ | A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Township of Jefferson for the purpose of providing Ambulance service at a rate not exceeding 0.5 mill for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.05 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for 5 years, commencing in 2013, first due in calendar year 2014.
