Jeffery J. Keyes was a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota. He served one eight-year term on the bench from April 28, 2008, to April 27, 2016.[1][2]

Biography and Education

Judge Keyes was born in New York City. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and his J.D. degree from the University of Michigan.[1]

Career

Judge Keyes worked as a partner with the law firm Gray, Plant, Mooty, Mooty & Bennett until 1986. He then began practicing with Briggs and Morgan, P.A., working in this capacity until his appointment to the U.S. District Court in 2008.[1]
