Jeffrey Berger
Jeffrey J. Berger is a former Democratic member of the Connecticut House of Representatives, representing District 73 from 2001 to 2019.
Biography
Berger's professional experience includes working as a sales associate with Century 21 Real Estate, a police officer in the City of Waterbury from 1978-1998, and a teacher/coach at Boca Ciega High from 1977-1978.
He served on the City Council of Waterbury from 1997-2000, Democratic Town Committee, 73rd District from 1997-1999, and as commissioner of city planning for the City of Waterbury from 1991-1996.
Berger is a member of the Smart Growth Economic Advisory Council, Waterbury Development Corporation Board of Directors, Naugatucil Valley CL Advisory Board, Exchange Club of Waterbury, 100 Club of Connecticut, Neighborhood Council Waterbury, and Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge #265.[1]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 10, 2014. Incumbent Jeffrey J. Berger was unopposed in the Democratic primary and defeated Francis J. Berger ran in the 2012 election for Connecticut House of Representatives District 73. Berger ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on August 14, 2012. He defeated Dennis Odle (R) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[7][8][9]
2010
Berger ran for re-election to the 73rd District seat in 2010. He defeated Jason Van Stone (R) and Richard A. Wood (I) in the November 2 general election.
2008
On November 4, 2008, Berger won re-election to the Connecticut House of Representatives from Connecticut's 73rd District, defeating Michael Telesca (I). Berger received 5,662 votes in the election while Telesca received 1,430 votes.[10] Berger raised $30,675 for his campaign.[11]
