Four of nine at-large seats on the Vineland Public Schools school board were up for general election on November 3, 2015.[3] The seats of incumbents Frank DiGiorgio, Susanne Morello, and Christopher Jennings were up for election to three-year terms, and the seat of incumbent Inez Acosta was up for a one-year term.[4][5]

DiGiorgio and Morello did not file to run for re-election, guaranteeing at least two newcomers would join the board. Jennings and Acosta won re-election, and newcomer Jeffrey Bordley joined the board for a three-year term. They defeated Xavier Cardona and Cedric Holmes. F. John Sbrana won the one-year term race against Donald Carter Jr.[1][2]

Cardona, Holmes, and Carter graduated from Vineland High School in the spring of 2015. All three ran together as a slate under the slogan "Revitalizing Vineland's Education." They supported each other's campaigns and asked voters to put all of them on the board. If any of them had been elected, they would have become the district's youngest members to ever serve on the board.[2]
