Jeffrey Duane Porter
Jeffrey Duane Porter (Democratic Party) ran for election for Florida Commissioner of Agriculture and Consumer Services. He lost in the Democratic primary on August 28, 2018.
Biography
Porter was born in Homestead, Florida. He attended Miami Dade College. Porter founded the company World Wide Supply Solutions. In 2017, he was elected to a third term as mayor of Homestead. He previously served as vice mayor and as a city councilor. Porter has served on the boards of the Florida Municipal Electric Association, The Beacon Council, Miami-Dade League of Cities, and the Miami-Dade Transportation Planning Organization.[1]
