|I grew up in central Maine where my mother was a schoolteacher and my father was a grounds superintendent at the local university. I earned my Bachelors’ Degree in Business from the University of Maine.
Prior to committing to this campaign full-time, I was working as an Information Systems Project Manager with over 25 years of corporate management and financial services experience.
I am a parishioner of the Catholic Church, an active member of the local gun club, and the chairman of the Republican Town Committee.
Personally, I have always sought out and excelled at new challenges. I designed, built, and operated a 9-hole public golf course with no prior experience in the field. I obtained my Financial Planner certification to become more knowledgeable in personal finance. I trained for and ran 5 Boston Marathons for charity although I was not a runner. I am a living kidney donor.- I hope to become a commonsense voice for the people of this district, whose views are more conservative than those of our current representative. I have spent the past 38 years living and working in the Merrimack Valley and would like to retire here someday however, the economic policies in this state are forcing many employers, employees, and retirees to flee to more hospitable locations. I want to change this.
- I oppose new taxes and support identifying opportunities to reduce existing ones. I am a fiscal conservative and plan to bring my business experience and some common sense to Beacon Hill. We need to spend our tax revenue more wisely, prioritize our needs better, and learn to live within a budget. I believe that parents and guardians are the primary stakeholders in their child’s education and support including parents in education decisions, especially those that involve what is taught to their children, and when and where their children go to school. I support public safety and law enforcement. We need our streets and schools to be safe. I believe that law enforcement is not limited to the police but extends to our judicial system, in
- I have always been a leader, from team captain in high school to IT Director at work. I am a problem solver. In my job I analyze complex organizational, technical, and financial challenges and develop solutions to resolve them. I have always been the champion for my teams, ensuring their voices are heard and that they are recognized and rewarded for their efforts and ideas. I have over 30 years of experience leading diverse teams of individuals to achieve common goals. I have spent my career working with stakeholders to prioritize projects, identifying those that benefit the most people. I have expertise working with multi-million-dollar budgets and achieving year-over-year cost reductions within service industries.
I look forward to revitalizing our public education system, beginning with defining the goals and objectives of public education, and providing educators with the tools and support they need to be successful in the classroom.
